Railroad Work at Central and Railroad Avenues
Surface rehabilitation at Central Avenue in Farmingdale will be scheduled for the week of September 25, 2023.
The crossing will require a complete closure for road traffic on a portion of Central Avenue starting 7:00am on Monday September 25, 2023 and is expected to take 4-5 days.
Every effort will be made to reopen the crossing for road traffic before the weekend. There will be no detour plan for this crossing, as there are alternate routes via Marl Road and/or Boud Avenue.
